INSTALL
1. Download Autovat-1.19.0-Windows-x64.exe. Tested on Windows 11 x64.
2. Keep it in a folder where you can save files, such as Documents/Autovat.
3. Double-click the EXE. No Python, Excel, Tesseract or installer is needed.
4. This release has no publisher certificate. If Windows shows an
   unrecognized-app warning, verify the source and checksum. Choose
   More info > Run anyway only if you trust this copy and the option is offered.
   A managed computer may require your administrator's approval.

START
Choose folder > select your receipt folder > enter your details > Read input
folder > review purchases and payment evidence > Create files.
Local text recognition is included. Optional OpenAI/Claude modes need your
own provider key and can incur provider charges. Check every generated form.
Use Help in the app for complete instructions.

UPDATE
Quit Autovat, replace the old EXE, then reopen. Keep your receipt folder,
its hidden .autovat folder, output files and saved settings. Startup update
checks only ask to open the download page; no update is installed automatically.
Offline or unavailable update checks are silent and do not delay startup.

VERIFY THE DOWNLOAD (PowerShell, in the download folder)
Get-FileHash -Algorithm SHA256 .\Autovat-1.19.0-Windows-x64.exe
Compare with SHA256SUMS.txt from the download page. A checksum detects file
changes; obtain it from a trusted source to verify authenticity.

PRIVACY
The version check sends an ordinary GET request, including the app version.
It does not send receipt data, form details, API keys or a device identifier.
The website can log ordinary connection information such as your IP address.

Autovat modification, redistribution, sale and charging require prior written
permission. Third-party components keep their separate license rights.
